  • Bow Crazy

This is a fun, chic and simple hairstyle that’ll bring out your inner girl. You’ll need a hair elastic and some velvet ribbon (we suggest white).

  1. Curl hair for loose wave.
  2. Tease crown for volume and texture.
  3. Scoop the hair into a low ponytail. You can roughen up the waves even more with a blast of texture spray.
  4. Cut around 150cm of white velvet ribbon and tie a bow. Wrap it around the neck and secure it with and uneven knot in the hair.

  • Flower Crown Updo

A floral headpiece is always a good idea for wedding hairstyles. You can DIY the elastic hair crown headband with the flowers and colors you like, or you can buy one. Fake flower crown are very easy to find these days.

  1. Put on the elastic flower crown and adjust the front (where the flowers are) to your taste.
  2. Grab the ends of your hair and twist them upwards.
  3. Tuck them into the elastic of your crown. Begin with the sides and then the back of the head.
  4. Finish styling using a light-hold hairspray.

  • Half Up Half Down

This is one of the best examples of the perfectly imperfect messy hair trend that is in every wedding hairstyles list this year. The more natural the waves in your hair, the more modern and fresh you’ll look. All you need are some bobby pins, a brush and a curling wand.

  1. Start by doing loose wavy curls using a hot curling wand.
  2. Tease crown for volume and texture.
  3. Take a section of hair from the right side of the front line, twist and pin at the other side.
  4. Take a section from the left side of the front line, and do the same.
  5. Continue to alternate sides, until front sections of hair have been pinned back and overlapped from either side of your head.
  6. Pull out loose some pieces to add a more natural look.

  • Knot Ponytail

An all-time classic with a twist. This is a super easy DIY elegant interpretation of a braided ponytail. All you’ll need is a hair elastic, a comb and some Bobby Pins.

  1. Air-dry your hair for a natural texture.
  2. Take a section of hair from each side of the front hairline. Pull back, knot and pin.
  3. Add more hair to each side and continue to knot and pin.
  4. Tease hair in between knots for volume and texture.
  5. Continue to knot until the end, and then use hair elastic to secure.
